Samuel and Caleb Empowerment Foundation is based in Abuja Nigeria but has a national and global vision of empowering children and young people at different levels of life in the fulfilment of their God given potentials and opportunities. We are registered with the Nigerian Corporate Affairs Commission as a not for -profit and Non-Governmental Organisation (Registration Number 8603495).
At Samuel and Caleb Empowerment Foundation, we aim to foster an early childhood environment where children and the young are equipped to strive.
As we know, all children are unique and each carry a gift that is unique to another, However, without the necessary support and empowerment, children are unlikely to thrive in their learning and development. We believe that when children are nurtured and supported, they develop a sense of belonging within the early stages of their life. Investing in children and young people’s lives means that they are more likely to thrive as they navigate through life with a chance of a better future.
Samuel and Caleb Empowerment Foundation’s main objective is to empower these young ones through this initiative in providing a platform through which they can reach their potentials in life. At Samuel and Caleb’s Empowerment Foundation, we desire to improve and impact the lives of children by reducing the impact of poverty by providing unique care to less privileged children according to their specific needs.
As the cost-of-living crisis continues, families are struggling to pay their bills, put food on the table and make sure children have essentials. Poverty is damaging the lives and chances of the future generation and with this empowerment initiative, these impacts can be reduced.
We aim to achieve this as we work in homes, partner with schools in our various communities by providing free medical outreach, educational and social programmes, promote the resources for development of vocational skills acquisition scheme towards the empowerment of vulnerable children in our communities.
Our mission is to demonstrate in a practical way God’s unconditional love through the provision of a helping hands for those in need of love, care and help.
Our Vision is to defeat the impact of poverty on the lives of vulnerable children and the young people by empowering them thus, creating a pathway to a meaningful and glorious future ahead of them.
We believe that all lives are valuable and are important to God hence with love, honour, respect and dignity we shall continue to build relationships and solve problems at all levels.
Integrity is our core value; we are firmly committed to moral and ethical principles, encompassing honesty, consistency, accountability and a strong moral character.
We believe in building trust and strong relationship as we all have a part to play in line with our motto: Together we can empower the next generation.

At Samuel & Caleb Empowerment Foundation, our philosophy is rooted in the belief that every child, regardless of background, deserves the opportunity to flourish. We see each child as a unique individual with God-given potential, capable of achieving greatness when given the right support and guidance.
Tom and Monique Ibrahim are husband and wife who are sold out for Christ and have dedicated their lives to serve him. They co-found and chair Samuel and Caleb Empowerment Foundation with a burning desire to stretch out hands and shoulders to carry the less privileged and vulnerable children and young ones in our communities.
The inspiration for the foundation started in 2013 during our visit home when God started burdening our hearts with compassion for the multitude of children in our communities faced with various struggles for survival. We then started reaching out to children in both primary and secondary schools and even higher institutions of learning by supporting them with financial aids and resources to facilitate their learning and educational development
As the needs continued to grow, it became obvious that there would be a need to encourage more partnerships to drive this vision forward and to meet the growing demands. As we celebrate the 7th anniversary of Destiny Helpers Nursery Limited; we decided to take a step further in registering Samuel and Caleb Empowerment Foundation with the Corporate Affairs Commission to officially open the door to as many like-minded individuals and organisations who would want to be part of this humanitarian and God given initiative in reaching out to the next generation of men and women in the making with hope and purpose.
Tom and Monique are blessed with three children: Destiny, Samuel and Caleb.
